PROJECT: Ports Entrance Sign Fabrication
Contract CO-2001-C

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the Ports of Indiana Project: Port Entrance Sign Fabrication, under Contract CO-2001-C, will be received at the Ports of Indiana-Central Office, 150. W. Market Street, Suite 450, Indianapolis, Ind. 46204, from bidders until 2:30 p.m., Eastern Time, on April 22, 2020, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the main conference room of the Ports of Indiana – Central Office. All bidders are entitled to attend the bid opening.

The Project work under Contract CO-2001-C consists of fabrication and delivery of three (3) entrance signs for each of the three port locations (Jeffersonville, Burns Harbor, and Mount Vernon) in Indiana. The signs are to be approximately 21’ high x 9’ long x 2’ wide and constructed of steel and illuminated opaque panels and otherwise conform with the Project Plans and Specifications. The Project work under Contract CO-2001-C does not include preparation of the concrete base, installation of the signs, and extension of electrical to the sign locations, which work will be performed by others under separate contracts.

Bids shall be submitted on the proper bid form and delivered in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidders, all as described in the Instructions to Bidders, which accompanies the Project Plans and Specifications. A Bidder’s Bond, made payable to the PORTS OF INDIANA, must be enclosed with the bid. Said bond shall be in the minimum amount of five percent of the maximum bid.

Contract CO-2001-C for this Project shall be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest and best bid, however, the Ports of Indiana reserves the right to reject all bids at its discretion.

Project Plans and Specifications are on file and available to contractors at the Ports of Indiana – Central Office, located at 150. W. Market Street, Suite 450, Indianapolis, Ind. 46204.
