EQUIPMENT PURCHASE FOR RAILCAR MOVER

Ports of Indiana (POI) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for equipment purchase, Railcar Mover, Ports of Indiana, Jeffersonville located in Clark County, Indiana described more specifically herein. POI will accept proposals at the office of the Port, 1402 Port Road, Jeffersonville, IN 47130 or via email to jpetree@portsofindiana.com, until August 3, 2022, after which the Proposals will be evaluated by POI staff.

The overall specification is as follows:
• Fully rebuilt Hercules Trackmobile vintage 2008 or newer
• Main engine, transmission and electrical components must be new with no greater than 50 hours of use
• Rebuild must include new cab, glass and cab fixtures
• 100 C.F.M. Screw IR Rail air brake system
• 27” Diameter rail wheels
• Hydraulic rail and road brakes
• Dual heavy duty cast steel couplers
• Hydraulic power steering
• 27” Diameter rail wheels
• Safety strobe
• Disc brakes with electronic controlled brake actuation
• Additional features to include cold weather package and front, rear and side cameras to ensure full 360 camera visibility around the machine
